Raynes out to set the record straight

Centre back Michael Raynes says the Millers have a score to settle as Paolo Di Canio's Swindon arrive at Don Valley this weekend.

The Millers lost their unbeaten league record for the season at the County Ground back in September and Di Canio's touchline antics, plus his players' theatrics on the field were the main headline catchers.

And Raynes, who has found a good run of form in recent weeks after recovering from injury, told the Star it's time to put things right.

“Some of the stuff that happened that day all over the pitch was not respectful at all and we want to make sure we put that right this weekend.

“It is still one of those games we all think about now and wonder how we didn’t get anything from it. I thought we did enough to win the game but the sending off and a couple of defensive mistakes cost us in the end.

“Swindon kicked on after beating us and we went the opposite way. Hopefully we can beat them and get back in the mix,” he added.
