Pope in line for miracle recovery

Thornber is looking after the League Two leaders following Mark Robins' move to Barnsley on Wednesday and Pope's possible return from an ankle injury provides him with an early boost. The former Crewe man was expected to face a lengthy lay-off but has trained this week and will be assessed ahead of the game. Another poised to make a return is Micky Cummins who has been struggling with a shoulder problem. That leaves Thornber with a fully-fit squad to choose from as the Millers look to cement their position at the summit of the fourth tier. Last weekend's 3-1 win over Chesterfield was their fifth success of the season, leaving them level on 15 points with co-leaders Bournemouth.
