Pope frustrated at Stevenage draw

Tom Pope tells the Advertiser that the Millers need to break defensive minded teams down at Don Valley in order to pick up more points. The striker stressed the unhappiness of the players after letting a 1-0 lead slip seven minutes from time, and Ronnie Moore's half time frustrations.Pope said: "We have to take the responsibility for the performance. Stevenage won't be the first team to come and play that defensively and we have to learn to deal with it or we won't be where we want to be at the end of the season."The goal just before half-time killed us off a bit. We knew we had a one goal lead and that we maybe cold have just held on but it didn't work out that way. However, grabbing a goal on the stroke of half-time is obviously a great time to score and we really should have held on to win."At the break the gaffer told us we weren't playing well enough and said we had to imagine what we could do if we actually turned it on and went up a gear. Unfortunately, we couldn`t manage to do that."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Miller Bear's home kit
