Plenty for Scott to ponder

Andy Scott takes charge of Rotherham for the first time when Hereford visit Don Valley. The former Brentford manager, whose brother Rob spent seven years as a player with the Millers, was named as the permanent successor to Ronnie Moore after agreeing a three-year deal on Wednesday. Scott finds his new side in disarray having slipped from being automatic promotion candidates to four points adrift of the play-offs after a horror run of just five wins from 19 games. The 38-year-old will be without defender Johnny Mullins, who has undergone surgery on a dislocated kneecap, so Nick Fenton and Ryan Cresswell should continue as the central pairing. Goalkeeper Andy Warrington is still struggling with a foot injury which means Jamie Annerson, who admitted to making a mistake in the build-up to Cheltenham's equaliser in the 1-1 draw last week, will retain his place between the posts. Scott, who confirmed he would be selecting the side, must also decide whether to recall top scorer Adam Le Fondre, who found himself on the bench at Whaddon Road, with Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor being preferred in attack.
