Andy Liddell speaks about ALF's professionalism after being left on the subs bench recently. Speaking to the Star Liddell said; “Alf took the decision all right; in fact, they all have done, He’s not happy when he’s not playing but that’s not just him, it’s others as well. “Picking a team is hard; me and Paul are new to it but we’re trying our best. When the decision has been made then there is thought as to how to explain to the player and I think they would say that I’m honest with them. Whoever they are, tell them what they’re doing wrong, what they’re doing right and how they can improve." “You hope for the right response and we’ve all seen how they’ve responded after they’ve been left out. “I’ve no problems telling them what I think because I’m honest and if you explain then they understand, although they’re disappointed because they want to play.” he added.
