Chairman Tony Stewart commented further to BBC Radio Sheffield this evening on the appointment of Andy Scott as the Millers new manager. 38 year-old Scott takes charge on a three year deal and starts his reign against Hereford on Saturday. His first task is to get the Millers into the play-off places and overturn a four point gap to seventh spot in the remaining five games. But Stewart insists the appointment isn't just about the short term aim of promotion, speaking to the Beeb tonight."I'm very impressed with this guy and I think he's going to be a knockout," said TS."His CV presented something that we had to look into and he wanted the job. It's a three-year contract and I'm not just looking at the next five games but the next three years and to get some momentum together."He's young, vibrant and has a track record in League Two in getting Brentford promoted. "I think the discussions we had over many hours convinced myself and the board that this was too good to miss."
