Open Day confirmed as postponed
Paul Douglas speaks to the clubs official website as next Tuesdays open training event is postponed. The event at the New York Stadium was scheduled for the 14th at 11am with the squad available to sign autographs and pose for photos with supporters, but Douglas confirmed that priorities were to get everything ready for the Millers game with Burton next weekend. The Chief Operating Officer explained: “Whilst preparations for the Burton game are all but complete we want to remove any potential hold ups to the final work of the contractors being finished. “The open session has been in the diary for some weeks but after reviewing the situation, we feel that the most important aspect next week will be to make sure that the Burton game runs as smoothly and effectively as possible. “We would like to reassure fans that we are still committed to staging an open day or open training session at some point in the future.”
