No break for Millers players after defeat

Boss Andy Scott cancelled his sides Sunday off and fired a warning to anyone not doing what has been asked of them.

Scott had his squad straight back to work, 24 hours after a 4-0 drubbing at home to Southend for light training and a review of the match DVD.

And he was still unhappy following the clubs first home league defeat this season.

“Can players not take on board what’s being asked of them? If that’s the case they won’t be playing.” he said to the Star.

Scott reitterated what he has said on a previous occasion after the match, saying; “I don’t care if I fall out with people, I’m not here to make lifelong friends who I speak to when I’m 60 - I’m here to win matches and get this club promotion and give players better careers.

“If they want better cars, houses, girls, whatever, they have to be successful to make it happen.”
