After being released by the Millers midfielder Cummins reveals he knew it was coming. Cummins who has joined Grimsby Town on a one year deal spoke to The Star, saying that when Ronnie Moore took over the reins after the departure of Mark Robins his face did not fit, Cummings said:"I declined other clubs' approaches because I'd made my mind up after seeing the place, the training ground and meeting the manager."From the outset I had a good feeling about Grimsby."The gaffer here wants to play football and it's what I want to do as well."It's a fresh start and a new challenge for me. I had disappointment last year in the play-offs with Rotherham but that's in the past now.""I'm looking to the future and settling quickly here in Grimsby."When Ronnie Moore came in after Mark Robins' departure, I was out of favour at Rotherham. My face didn't really fit in the squad so I knew what was coming.""I put a few feelers out and spoke to Tommy Wright who was here at the time.""He mentioned me to the gaffer and we kept in touch. It all went quickly after that. I didn't play a lot towards the end of last season so can't wait to get going here."
