The 24 year-old has been in superb form over the past few months making the centre back position his own, and has today sealed his future with the club.
"I'm over the moon to be staying here", he told the clubs official website.
"I juist want to be a part of the new stadium and crack on with everything, it has all been a very smooth process. I was told the club wanted to offer me a new deal and I'm really pleased it's all been done.
"The stadium was a massive carrot but I won't rest on my laurels, I just want to kick on now and hopefully the team can kick on too."
