Mullins 'over the moon' to sign

06 July 2010 12:17
New boy Johnny Mullins wasted no time in talking about his two year deal with the club, saying he likes the way Ronnie Moore's teams play. The 24 year-old full back signed this morning after leaving Stockport County where he was skipper, and told the clubs official website it was a no brainer even though other sides were chasing his signature."I am over the moon with the deal," he said."The club didn't have to be sold to me. I knew a lot about Rotherham, the manager wanted me and I wanted to sign so that made the deal very easy. The first impressions of the club are very good, "I have played against Ronnie Moore's teams before and I have always liked the way his full-backs play."There were one or two other clubs interested in me at the start," continued Mullins. "It was important that after my experiences at Stockport that I became involved in a team that is successful and after meeting the manager and Jimmy that is something I am sure will happen."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics
