Mullins on the comeback trail

Rotherham defender Johnny Mullins is set to step up his recovery from injury with a run-out for the reserves. The 24-year-old right-back, who signed from Stockport in the summer, has yet to feature for Ronnie Moore's men after suffering a calf problem in pre-season training. That injury prevented Mullins from playing in any of the Millers' friendlies in the build up to the new season, but now he could feature for the reserves against Bradford. "It's been a heck of an injury and he's really had to take his time," Moore told the Star. "We'll do a final check but there's no way he'll be pushed if it's not quite right. If he was to be ok then we'd be looking at 45 minutes for him."
