Moore unsure of required points tally

With three crucial games to go, the Millers final league placing is in their own hands if they can finish with maximum points, insists gaffer Ronnie Moore. With the final automatic spot looking to have been secured by Bournemouth, Moore will be hoping that his team can secure their play-off place as soon as possible despite not being certain of the final tally his side may need to finish in the top seven. Speaking in The Star Moore is hoping it does not go down to the last game of the season at Hereford for the Millers. Moore said: "That's certainly going to be the case for some of the teams battling it out."But I just hope that we're sorted by then. Certainly it is in our own hands. If we win our games then we can't be caught and we'll be in there."Moore has never been one to give up and until that third automatic spot is a mathematical impossibility he lives in hope."Until you can't catch them then you remain in hope - we've seen enough funny results just recently to know anything can happen. But they are right next to it and it would need them to collapse completely."We have to concentrate on winning our games, getting the points we need to ensure we have got one of those play-off spots. How many more points we'll need, I'm not sure. We do have three points on some of those below us but, as we've seen, things do change rapidly."You can go right down to Shrewsbury in 12th place as being involved and it was only last week that people were writing them off."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit
