So, the Millers managed to keep thier star striker during the Summer transfer window, and with 18 months left on his contract Adam Le Fondre and Ronnie Moore are set to open talks on an extension. The Millers rejected an approach from Plymouth Argyle for the 23 year old striker, the bid which was rumoured to be £750k and Rory Fallon in exchange was branded by Moore as a joke and rejected by chairman Tony Stewart.Alf has scored 36 goals in 56 appearances for the Millers and is looking to stay with the Millers; "Obviously I want to play higher and the club have to got to match that and get promoted this season, At the moment I`m looking to score as many as I can and help take the club as far as I can." he told Millersplayer.Meanwhile, speaking to the 'Tiser boss Ronnie Moore said; "I will speak to Alfie today to see what his feelings are but obviously we have a limit to where we can go."
