Moore stunned by defeat

Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore could not believe his eyes after his side "pulverised" Shrewsbury - yet lost 1-0. The Shrews held onto the early lead given to them by Lionel Ainsworth while goalkeeper Chris Neal pulled off a string of fine saves after the break. "We made a sloppy start and for the first five minutes didn't play but some of our passing in the second half was a joy to watch," said Moore. "We pulverised them! The goalkeeper made six or seven worldies and if we play like that every week we won't be too far away. "Their goal was a sloppy one to give away but in the second half we absolutely battered them. It was a travesty that we haven't come away with anything. If we'd got one goal we could easily have scored four or five. "Shrewsbury simply couldn't get out of their half. We needed a bit of luck but if you don't get it then you lose 1-0. I've had over 680 games as a manager and to be honest I can't remember a more one-sided second half."
