As we reported yesterday, former Sheffield United forward Jordan Robertson is training with the club after a spell in prison and could be offered a contract until the end of the season. The 22 year-old was jailed for causing death by dangerous driving in October 2009 but following his release, has spent time with Dundee up in Scotland. Now the player is set to play in a behind closed doors friendly tomorrow after boss Ronnie Moore invited him to train with the club last week."He's a player who has tremendous ability and hopefully he can fulfil it with us. He's big and strong with pace and scores goals", Moore told Millers player."He's come here for us to have a look at him and we really need to see him play on Wednesday which is why we need a game."If it works out it will be a bonus for us because there will be a lot of interest in him. Part of the reason he's come here first is that he's a local lad and knows Ryan Cresswell. We'll see how it progresses and take it from there."
