Moore issues warning to Elliott

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has warned Tom Elliott to "grow up" after becoming frustrated at the on-loan striker's lack of availability this season. The 21-year-old, who is on a six-month loan deal from Leeds, has only started four of Rotherham's eight games this season after battling with a hamstring problem. But Moore feels Elliott could have played through his injury and wants to see more from him. "I have told Tom that he has got to decide whether he wants to be a footballer or he wants to work in a bank. He is always injured and he will not play with any bit of pain so he has to grow up," he told the Star. "It is decision time because sooner or later he is going to have to decide what direction he wants his football career to go. We can't get him to the fitness levels that we want and need him at. "He must have missed 40 training sessions so we are banging our heads against a brick wall. We want him to be fully fit and make him a better player."
