Moore hails Millers

Manager Ronnie Moore thought Rotherham were `outstanding` in the defeat of Crewe. Alex defender Adam Dugdale scored an own goal after only two minutes on his home debut as the Millers survived missing a penalty to move into fourth spot with a 1-0 win at Gresty Road. Moore, whose side were beaten 3-0 at York in the FA Cup in midweek, said: "We were outstanding but I am just disappointed we only scored one goal - and an own goal at that. "We could have won that by five or six and no-one could have complained. It was a fantastic performance to put the York result to bed. We were a million per cent better. "We knew their keeper was a flapper so we made a point of making all our corners inswingers and it paid off straight away. To be fair, he made a hell of save for the penalty but Adam (Le Fondre) admitted to me that he changed his mind about where he was going to put it at the last minute." Moore added: "We are struggling at the back with injuries so we are going to try and get someone in before the window shuts. We've had five people turn us down since Thursday but we are going to keep trying otherwise we could be in big trouble."
