Moore: Club heading in right direction

Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore believes his club is going places after they grafted to a 2-0 win at Macclesfield. The Millers are on the tails of leaders Chesterfield after back-to-back wins in the New Year and Moore is confident of further success after goals from Jason Taylor and Nick Fenton secured victory at Moss Rose. Moore said: "This is a very difficult place to come, Macclesfield played to their strengths. "They throw the ball in behind you and wait to feed off the scraps but I thought our back two of Johnny Mullins and Nick Fenton were fantastic, they didn't give anything away. "We won it the hard way. You can't play pretty football as we did against Port Vale every week and there are different ways of winning. We've now not lost in seven games, taken nine points from three games in the holiday period and are certainly going in the right direction. "We've got a chairman with a lot of ambition. We've got a new stadium opening in 2012 and we've just got to keep it going on the pitch. To score seven goals in the last two games without Adam Le Fondre getting on the scoresheet is something of a miracle."
