Mixed news for Moore

09 August 2010 11:01
Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has selection problems for the Carling Cup trip to Peterborough. Moore had Ryan Taylor, Tom Pope, Dale Tonge (all foot), Johnny Mullins (hamstring) and Luke Ashworth (suspended) missing for the season-opening win against Lincoln on Saturday and only the latter is definitely available for the London Road clash. Mullins has been having intensive treatment on his injury and could come into contention to make his debut following a summer move from Stockport. To make matters worse for the Millers, midfielder Mark Bradley is on international duty after his Wales call-up while the loan pair of Dean Holden and Exodus Geohaghon, from Posh, have been denied permission to play by their parent clubs. That leaves Moore struggling to fill the bench as his side aim to continue their recent Carling Cup success, where they have beaten higher-placed opposition in each of their last two first-round ties.
