Millers wait on injured pair after Hudders loss

After making a lot of team changes in yesterdays game with Huddersfield, the Millers are waiting for news of injured duo Lee Frecklington and Daniel Nardiello. Steve Evans squad was once again well utilised in the 1-0 defeat, the Millers first during their pre-season run outs, and assistant Paul Raynor spoke to the clubs website, themillers.co.uk, afterwards.   “We played well first half, I thought we created more chances and probably just edged it. We made a lot of chances at half-time, and then didn’t play at the tempo we wanted and couldn’t really create anything, then when you give Championship players time on the ball they can hurt you.   “Daniel felt his hamstring a little bit so we brought him off as a precaution and now we’ll just be able to see how it settles down and assess him. Hopefully it will be good news, but it’s a bit of a concern when a player goes down clutching their hamstring like that. Hopefully it will be good news.”   Raynor added; "Lee just jarred something in training and we aren’t going to take any chances, because we’ve just got to be ready for the game at Crewe, so we’ve been careful with Lee although he said he wanted to play. If it settles down he should be ok for Tuesday night."   The Millers entertain Middlesbrough this week and also take a second XI to Stocksbridge, before finishing off pre-season next Saturday against Barnsley at NYS.
