Millers upset following postponement

Rotherham have expressed concerns with the manner of Saturday's postponement with Torquay. The Plainmoor clash was called off just after 11am due to safety concerns following a blast of cold weather in the south of England. But the Millers are complaining there was no indication that the game was in danger despite the lengthy journey involved. A club statement read: "Rotherham would like to state that the club were not informed there a pitch inspection planned, or that the game was in serious doubt until 10.30am. "Despite regular attempts by the club to obtain updates from Torquay, no information at all was forthcoming and we only found out there was an issue with the game when the kit was dropped off. "The club would like to apologise to supporters who made the journey down to Torquay."
