Rotherham have confirmed that they have completed a deal to secure an extra 4.5 acres of land surrounding the former Guest and Chrimes stadium site. Chairman Tony Stewart told the clubs official website that a deal to purchase the extra land adjacent to the G and C site where the old Gloystarne warehouse was situated was completed last Friday.Tony explained: "This has been going through for some time but, as of last Friday, it has now been completed and will provide us with the additional flexibility for future amenities and access to and from the new stadium development site."Whilst it may appear to some that not a lot is being said with regard to progress I can assure everyone that there is plenty being done. I have always said that it is my nature to be impatient with wanting things to happen immediately but I have to say that I am very satisfied with the progress we are making. As and when stages of this project are completed I will be in a position to release the details."
