Millers looking to make Freck deal permanent

Steve Evans explains he is hoping to sign Lee Frecklington on a full time basis after the Peterborough midfielder extended his loan today.

Freck has undergone a medical assessment and Tuesdays injury against Wycombe will only keep him out of this weekends trip to Exeter, meaning he now stays with the club until the January transfer window.

Boss Evans told the clubs website themillers.co.uk: ''First let me say I am relieved to have learnt this morning that after being withdrawn at half-time against Wycombe the lad will be missing for no more than five or six days. ''Frecks is a top player and an excellent professional who it has to be said has been brilliant for me. He is loved by the Millers support as well as myself and they will be hoping we can now secure the lad on a permanent transfer. If everyone is sensible and I am positive they will be then I am sure we can get the transfer made permanent but that is now down to those at a much higher level than me. ''My Chairman is as ever extremely supportive and I can only thank him accordingly."

MillersMAD wish Lee continued success with the club.
