The Blackburn Rovers man spent time with Yeovil Town last season, making 6 appearacnes and has previously played 5 times for Rovers first team.
Morris, a former England U20 International, replaces the outgoing Bob Harris who returned to Blackpool earlier today after his months loan expired.
He will compete with Laurie Wilson for the vacant full back spot.
