The Millers are in talks with Peterborough United to make on midfielder Lee Frecklington's loan move a permanante one in January.

Clubcall.com are reporting that a 3rd round of talks between the 2 clubs will take place in the week to thrash a deal out for the 27 year old.

Boss Steve Evans told Clubcall; "There are further talks next week. I am just waiting to hear. Lee Frecklington has made it perfectly clear through his choice he wants to be at Rotherham United. It's now up to the clubs to agree a fee."

"It is more likely to happen than not to happen, but as we have learned it is difficult and we don't talk about it in any great detail until the papers are signed." he added.

Meanwhile, out of favour winger Danny Schofield has returned to the Millers after a injury disrupted 3 month loan spell with Accrington Stanley.
