Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore's injury problems have eased after strikers Ryan Taylor and Tom Pope both made a comeback in the reserves. Pope scored the only goal as the reserves held Nottingham Forest 1-1, while Taylor made his return from a metatarsal injury and played 30 minutes. Pope is in line for a first-team start against Chesterfield at the Don Valley Stadium on Saturday after scoring four goals in three reserve outings. He also netted at the weekend for the first team after coming on as a late substitute in the 4-1 win over Barnet. Taylor had also been suffering with a thigh strain and is now easing his way back into the reserves in a bid to regain full match fitness.
