Millers could tie up double striker deal

MillersMAD understands Rotherham could be set to tie up a double striker deal in the next few days in the lead up to the start of the season. Boss Ronnie Moore is set to offer Maltese trialist Jeramiah Ani a short term contract as the 22 year-old impressed the manager during his pre-season stint with run outs at Stockbridge Park Steels and then with the first team at Tamworth. As reported previously, Ani was all set to earn a deal at Notts Couinty but funds would not allow boss Craig Short to offer him a contract.Meanwhile as dsicussed on our messageboards, Moore has also focused his attention to the unattached Jon Macken, who was released by Barnsley over the summer. The 33 year-old figured in only a handful of games at Oakwell in an injury hit campaign. The Millers are short in the striking department through injury and are looking to add to their opitions whilst Ryan Taylor and Top Pope return to full fitness.Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
