Millers complete Mullins signing

Ronnie Moore has boosted his defensive options by completing the signing of versatile defender Johnny Mullins from Stockport on a two-year deal. Mullins began his career at Reading but moved to Kidderminster on two separate loan spells after finding it hard to break into the first team. He then moved to Mansfield and Stockport before ending his two-year stay with them when his contract ended last week. Mullins, Ronnie Moore's fifth summer signing, told Rotherham's official website: "I am over the moon with the deal. "The club didn't have to be sold to me. I knew a lot about Rotherham, the manager wanted me and I wanted to sign so that made the deal very easy. "The first impressions of the club are very good, I have played against Ronnie Moore's teams before and I have always liked the way his full-backs play. "It was important after my experiences at Stockport that I became involved in a team that is successful and that is something I am sure will happen."
