The Millers confirmed on Wednesday they will move to a purpose-built 12,000-seater stadium at the former Guest & Chrimes site close to their former home at Millmoor.[LNB]The League Two outfit have been playing their home games at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield since the start of last season after they were forced to leave Millmoor after failing to agree rent terms with ground owner Ken Booth.[LNB]But with the club now on a more sound financial footing, they have announced they hope to be playing in their new stadium in 2012 and plan to start work once planning permission is granted. They will also build a new training ground near to their new home at an overall cost of between £20million and £25m.[LNB]Stewart said: "We have been working hard on the new stadium project behind the scenes for over 18 months now and have gained tremendous knowledge of numerous stadia throughout the country and we have a good understanding what is needed for it to be a success for supporters and to work for us commercially to provide financial stability for Rotherham United Football Club for years to come.[LNB]"Our town needs a football club to be proud of, playing in a stadium to be proud of, providing facilities for our community to be proud of."[LNB][LNB]
