Millers appoint Davis as new stadium manager

Rotherham have appointed Paul Davis as their new stadium manager.

Davis undertook a similar role in his time with Sheffield Wednesday and has been recruited to oversee the day to day operations of the New York Stadium, from stewarding on a matchday to catering during the week.

Paul told the clubs official website: "This is a very exciting time for all connected with Rotherham United and an excellent opportunity for me to put together a new stadium operations team that will oversee the 24/7 running of the stadium, as well as the matchday safety and security operations. The New York Stadium designs look fantastic and it will be a venue that Rotherham will be proud of.

"There will be a lot of hard work required over the first few months of 2012 to ensure that we obtain a Safety Certificate from the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. I'm sure there will be some late nights and early mornings for myself and the team as the new season approaches but this is all part of the challenge." Paul added.
