Midfield duo missing for Millers

Michael O'Connor and Rob Milsom are almost certain to sit out Saturdays game with Gillingham due to injury.

With a few injuries piling up, the duo, who missed Tuesday nights win against Coventry, won't be risked until they are 100% fit.

Assistant boss Paul Raynor spoke to BBC Radio Sheffield: "We've got a few knocks and strains but you have periods like this through the season. "Micky is a big player for us and we`d love to have him out there on Saturday but he's not right and we won`t force it and make things worse. He's had this groin problem for a few weeks and we aren't overly hopeful. Denis Circuit is working very hard with him but I'd probably say it`s 70/30 that he's not going to be able to play."

Mark Bradley is missing for around 3 weeks and young defender Danny Rowe also missed the midweek trip with a strain and may be unavailable to take his place on the bench, but Alex Revell is expected to shrug off the injury he played with throughout the 3-0 victory. Raynor added; "Rob (Milsom) is also definitely out. We aren't a massive squad and we go for quality rather than quantity so if we have to be a bit light on the bench then we will. You can only put three subs on anyway so we won't be taking risks."

Newcastle loan signings James Tavernier and Haris Vuckic, who joined yesterday until January, are both included in Saturdays squad.
