Boss Andy Scott confirmed to Millersplayer: "Macclesfield want to take Marcus for the full 93 days and we've got a 24 hour recall anyway which we have put in place. He is getting games there which is good so that suits all parties."
Meanwhile Annerson played for City in a behind closed doors friendly earlier this week after recovering from knee surgery which has kept him out for the entire season.
With Rhys Taylor and Andy Warrington keeping him out of the picture, Annerson has moved to Valley Parade on a cover basis.
