Liddell proud of rampant Millers

Andy Liddell was beaming with pride after enjoying a dream start to his spell as Rotherham's caretaker manager. The rookie boss watched on in delight as the Millers overcame Ronnie Moore's midweek departure to hammer Lincoln 6-0. Ironically, Moore's son, Ian Thomas-Moore, was the star, netting a hat-trick to add to goals from Danny Harrison, Ryan Taylor and Jason Taylor, much to Liddell's delight. "I should probably resign," he joked. "It is not going to get any better than that. It was a great performance, we battered them. "We needed to respond, we got a beating at Chesterfield last Friday and unfortunately Ronnie lost his job. "Paul and I just picked a team, all I asked from the players was to work hard and they did that. Anybody who doesn't won't be in the team because there are 22 players here. I was proud to watch them, but it is only one game. I told them to enjoy nights like this because they don't come along too often."
