Liam looking forward to facing former club

Full back Liam Ridehalgh faces his former club tomorrow and is looking forward to hopefully helping the Millers to victory.

He told the Advertiser: “Chesterfield are similar to us in that they've got a good squad and I do think they will be up there come the end of the season.

“Their striker, Marc Richards, is very good, as is Mark Randall in the middle. He hasn't been playing regularly recently but I think he's a top player. When Chesterfield played Rotherham last time, I had only joined the day before and came on as a sub. It was a full house and I was just happy to get on the bench.

“Obviously, this time I'm looking forward to the match for personal reasons but as soon as you go out on the pitch all that goes out of your mind.

“I'm out of contract at Huddersfield this summer but I don't really look into things like that. I'll just enjoy my football. I love it here and obviously it's a nice stadium and a great club.

“Would I stay? That's not for me to say. Anything can happen in football so I'll just wait to see what happens.”
