Lets turn the screw - Moore

Boss Ronnie Moore calls for his side to give it everything ahead of the final run in, starting with tomorrows game against Bury where he says they'll be changes to the side. The Millers could move above the Shakers tomorrow with a win, with both teams suffering with dips in form of late in the table."It'll be a tough game against Bury, there's no doubt about that," said Moore to the 'Tiser today."They are a good side and Knilly's done a good job there. But we'll go into this week needing back-to-back wins. That would put us in a great position. "When you get the opportunity to go third in this league, then you have got to take it. Chances like that don't come round too often and you must have players who have no nerves, play their own game and be as natural as they can. We need character and consistency and getting that out of the team is the thing."It's a case of us being strong now. What we have got to make sure of is that we don't start like we did at Accrington and don't play like we did in the first half. "We went to Dagenham and got a nice little win and then went to Accrington knowing that we could go out and get into the top three if we won. We were lucky to come in at the break only one down—and we need to start Saturday's game against Bury like we played in the second half on Tuesday. "The inconsistency is incredible. But there was enough there at Accrington for us not to go screaming from the rooftops about being rubbish. If we can play with the tempo that we had in the second half at Accrington then there won't be many teams that will beat us. What we have to do is be ruthless when we are so dominant."I'll make some changes because we need to be more attacking at home," added Moore. "Once McAllister gets a few games under his belt and is a little more fluid, then he'll work well with Adam Le Fondre—and I've brought Drewe Broughton back from Lincoln to put a bit of pressure on the strikers. "They wanted to take him for longer, but I want Drewe back here to give us a bit more of a competitive edge.Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
