Le Fondre deal dead in the water
The two clubs agreed a fee for Le Fondre as the Millers sought to bolster their strikeforce following Reuben Reid's departure to West Brom.
However, the highly-rated forward could not reach an agreement with the Millers and the transfer will not materialise.
A statement on Dale's official website said: "Following Saturday's announcement regarding Dale striker Adam Le Fondre's move to Rotherham the club can confirm the deal has fallen through after Adam failed to reach an agreement over personal terms.
"Rotherham have now closed negotiations and the matter is now closed."
