King Harrad stuns Millers

Shaun Harrad grabbed a second-half hat-trick for Burton as Rotherham threw away a three-goal half-time lead in an entertaining 3-3 draw. The Millers could not have had a better start, with a goal after inside the opening first minute, when Kevin Ellison's 30-yard free-kick found the bottom corner of the net despite Adam Legzdins getting a hand to the ball. But it was Burton who dominated the opening 30 minutes, though without managing a serious effort on goal. And Rotherham punished them with two goals in five minutes. First Exodus Geohaghon's long throw was headed home unchallenged by skipper Ryan Creswell after 33 minutes, followed five minutes later when Adam Le Fondre finished off a fine move to turn in his seventh goal of the season. But Burton pulled one back 52 seconds after the restart. Creswell tried to let a long defensive clearance run back to his goalkeeper, but the ball did not reach him and Harrad nipped in to turn the ball past Andy Warrington. And on the hour, Harrad added a second from the penalty spot after Johnny Mullins fouled Kevin Grocott and he completed his hat-trick with seven minutes to go from Gregg Pearson's perfect lay-off.
