Speaking to Millersworld after todays 1-0 win at Aldershot, striker Ryan Taylor talks about coming straight back into the team after spending time away on loan at Exeter. "It was a great experience for me as I've got a few games under my belt, I've come back and played 90 minutes today, I can't remember the last time I did that for Rotherham, so obviously it's added something to my game. I feel a bit fitter so hopefully I can get another 90 minutes on Wednesday night and get to Wembley.""I think it's given me an extra edge, before I went I wasn't playing I wasn't even in the squad, so going away and coming back and starting has given me extra confidence. Hopefully you saw that today."Ryan was asked what Ronnie had said to him when he was told he was starting todays game; "Basically he said carry on doing what I've been doing at Exeter as he had heard I'd done well there, hence him putting me in today, just keep things simple. I thought all the team did well.""Thier two centre halfs are big lads and I think me and Alfie did well putting pressure on them all game and it paid off in the end they made the mistake and we got the goal.""As defenders get tired in this league they tend to make more mistakes and I think with me and Alfie putting the pressure on for 90 minutes in the end they're always going to make a mistake and its a great finish from Alfie and lets hope that gets us to Wembley."However, Ryan was only too aware that the job is only half done; "It's not job done but it's a great building block to take back to Don Valley now, hopefully we can take this performance and get to Wembley after Wednesday at Don Valley."Ryan looked at his own future; "I've got another year left at Rotherham, but I want to concentrate on the next game, If I can get us to Wembley then that would be a massive thing in my career, if I can play at Wembley that would be absolutely brilliant."Taylor was asked wether he had some points to prove, to which he said; "Definately yes, every player has points to prove but I have especially as I've not had the best of years as everybody knows, but I've got confidence in my ability and I think I can do well.""I've played on Sky twice this year and done quite well on both occasions, once with Exeter and today I did quite well so hopefully we can get to Wembley and make it another good performance on Sky."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
