Speaking to the Advertiser after signing with the Millers defender Luke Foster is happy to be back local. 25 year old Luke Foster joined the Millers this week and signed a one year deal. "I couldn't have wished for a better move. "t's great for me and for my family and it's nice to come 'home'". He told the 'Tiser . "Rotherham is potentially a massive club. When I spoke to the manager I was impressed with his plans and the future here is very bright. It will be great to be a part of that and it's perfect for me." "I definitely think we've got a squad capable of winning promotion next season. I've been very impressed with the signings over the summer and I know the squad here already was strong." One player that Foster knows at the club already is defender Dale Tonge whom he played with at Barnsley Boys; "I obviously know Dale from the Barnsley Boys days and the side we played in was very successful. I think we won just about everything."
