It'll take time to gel - Evans

Speaking to the Advertiser today, boss Steve Evans says that it could take a dozen games for the lads to gel properly.

After signing over ten players during the summer, boss Steve Evans expects it to take a while before the team show's their full potential on a consistant basis.

“We're still bringing this group together. The boys have had six or seven matches together and they're still learning each other's games. I've chopped and changed a couple of times but as we get past the dozen games mark they'll be getting to know each other." he told the 'tiser.

“The first half against Bradford on Saturday showed what we're capable of. It was exhilarating and we passed and moved and opened them up. It is all credit to the players because it was a big game for us and they've got good players and they're well organised but they got away with four goals and probably got away lightly.” he added.
