With Tom Pope ruled out for at least another month and an unconfirmed Metatarsal injury to Ryan Taylor, boss Ronnie Moore adds urgency to sort out a striker crisis. As the players returned back to pre-season training last week, striker Tom Pope was a noticable absentee as he is still a while away from full training after picking up an injury late last season.Speaking to the official website, boss Ronnie Moore said; "Popey is not that close to playing at the moment, He will have his pre-season when the season starts, so it looks like he will be a good month away.""He is going to have to be patient because if he does anything daft on the injury now it'll need pinning and then you are looking at six months," he added."So far he has done all the right things and I know it's hard because he wants to get involved. He hasn't sat on his backside while he has been out. He has done a lot of upper body work so that will help his overall fitness levels when he does start training again." he added.Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Ryan Taylor broke a metatarsal during training last week, this has yet to be confirmed by the club..
