I'm more relaxed - Grabbs

Speaking to the 'Tiser, top scorer Lewis Grabban says the transfer speculation didn't affect him, but he's feeling more relaxed than lately.

With transfer rumours and talk of him being tapped up coinciding with a loss of form resulted in Lewis Grabban spending some time on the sidelines, although since returning to the team he's scored twice in three games.

Grabban told the Advertsier; “I don't think the transfer talk knocked me off my stride. “In football, we all have a quiet period. Mine was in January and it was just coincidental that it came at the same time as the transfer talk."

“Maybe I was over-thinking things. That's what happens when you don't get on the scoresheet for a bit. You can over complicate it and you've just got to relax and start again and go out and try and do what you normally do. I feel more relaxed and better in myself now.”

"I have always tried to take penalties because it's the easiest chance that you'll get to score. I practice them on the training ground when the keepers have got a spare minute. Towards the end of the week I'll ask them for ten shots on goal and they oblige."

"In matches I don't have a set penalty, otherwise keepers will research it before the game and know where I go, I only decide before I take it. I just try and judge it there and then and be strong in my decision. I don't change my mind, I just go for it.”

“This month has a lot of games and if we can come out of it with a good share of points we can go into the final month with a platform to push on.” he added
