I want to something back - Watson

Former captain and now Sky Sports reporter Kevin Watson say's he's applied for the vacant managers job with the Millers as he would like to put something back into the game.

Speaking to the PA, Watson said; "I was assistant to Mick Harford at Luton when we won the JPT and I managed the reserves and we won the league, I thoroughly enjoyed that side of the game and then the Sky job came along."

"What I have in my favour is the last two years, I have watched a hell of a lot of games at every level and I have that behind me. My experience and success I had as a player also stands me at good stead. I have been in promotion-winning dressing rooms. I have worked under a lot of experienced managers that I feel I could call on if I was ever in a first-team post."

"I have made it quite clear I would like a crack at it. I would like to put something back into the game, especially at somewhere where I have had success before." he added.
