I want to be starting games - Bradley

08 October 2010 00:12
Midfielder Mark Bradley says that now his niggling injuries are behind him, he'd like to be contributing on a regular basis. The 22 year-old completed his first two starts this week at Bury and Burton, scoring his first goal for the club in the process. And he says: "That's what I came to Rotherham for," in todays Tiser; "I want to start games and not be on the bench."To be honest I've had a few niggling injuries and a few Wales call-ups as well which has meant I've had to be content with sitting on the bench. But the boys have been playing well which is a good thing. "I was pleased to get a start at Bury, although it was disappointing to come off to be honest. It was a difficult game and we had to work hard to close their two centre midfielders down. That was pleasing, especially in the second half and I thought we did that well. "Hopefully I can now get on the ball a bit more and show what I can do. We stopped them playing in the second half and it was a good point."We`ve only lost one game in the league and the lads have performed well so all I can really do is keep playing well, even if it's for the reserves." Ronnie Moore was also pleased with Bradders' performance and said: "I needed to take a look at Mark and see what he can do because I haven't really had the chance. He came in and did well and hopefully he'll keep that up."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Miller Bear's home kit
