Chairman Tony Stewart praises the team, the fans, and gives a rallying cry ahead of Wednesday's second leg against Aldershot. Stewart spoke to the clubs official site ahead of the crunch clash as the Millers look to build on a 1-0 first leg lead and book a place at Wembley. The Chairman also touched on his pride to be representing the club and about the events over the weekend.Tony said: "At the game on Saturday I thought we were magnificent, and when I say 'we' I mean players and supporters alike. I am so proud to be representing Rotherham United Football Club and I take that pride with me everywhere I go," admitted Mr.Stewart."Wednesday night provides us all with an opportunity that this Club and this Town hasn't had for a long time. We are under no illusion that there is a long way to go and that we are just at half time with our noses slightly in front at this stage."It was interesting to read in the Aldershot Matchday Programme, a piece that said Don Valley Stadium is 'hardly the most intimidating of venues', I think that sets down a challenge to us all."Tony continued: "I don't think we have had a fair representation of what is happening at Rotherham United in national media recently and if this creates a siege mentality amongst us and unites everyone involved with this Football Club, either directly or indirectly, then that will only make us stronger."There are still a lot of Rotherham United supporters that haven't been to Don Valley Stadium for a whole host of reasons - this is a direct plea to each and every one of them - come on Wednesday night, get behind your team as the prize is for this Club to represent our Town on a national stage," he added."I live in Rotherham, my business is in Rotherham and most of my employees are from Rotherham, that makes me very proud. I am extremely passionate and relentlessly dedicated to working with others to make a difference for Rotherham United Football Club and all I can ask is that, on Wednesday night, wear the red and white colours with pride, this is a great opportunity to show everyone what we're all about. Up The Millers!" Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
