After spending a spell out of the team, Ben Pringle came on as sub and helped the Millers claim a point against York. He tell's the 'Tiser that he's nothing to prove.

Having not started a game since the beginning of Febuary the midfielder tell's the Advertiser that he needed the rest.

“I’m the second top scorer and the second top in the assist charts and I’ve played more games than anyone just about so I don’t think I need to prove anything, That’s not being big headed but I hadn’t played for a couple of games and that’s probably done me good, I feel better and fresher now so obviously I was happy to help the lads get a point.” he said.

“Every time I go on the pitch I try and impact the game and I think I have done that the same if not more than anybody this season. Having not played for a few games it was something I wanted to do when I went on against York.” he added.

Meanwhile gaffer Steve Evans spoke of the players attitude of others being picked ahead of him; “Ben Pringle hasn't been in the team because others have deserved to be picked in front of him, He's a talented boy and every time I look at Ben he is itching to play and he either creates a goal or scores a goal. That's why I brought him on,”

“He has been hurting at not being in the team and it is good when he comes on and plays like he has been hurting." he added
