The Millers went out of the Capital One cup on penalties after 120 minutes of football couldnt seperate the teams with the score at 1-1, However Kayode is looking at the performance and not he result.
“We didn’t let anyone down and gave a good account of ourselves but we can hold our heads high,” Odejayi told the Star.
“There had been the build-up beforehand after all that’s happened at the club in the summer but regardless of what goes on beforehand you have to give a good account."
"People will say that going there as underdogs to a nice stadium, it’s easy to get yourself up for it but the real thing is League Two, that’s the bread and butter and we have to do that week in, week out. The Hull game means nothing - we have to take that performance into Burton on Saturday. I think we have more than enough in our squad to deal with that.”
“As a team and a squad we have got that belief anyway but this will add to it,” he added.
