Holroyd has fond Barrow memories

Striker Chris Holroyd will be hoping to get on the scoresheet in this weekends FA Cup clash after scoring a brace on his previous visit.

Holroyd netted a double on his last outing in Cumbria for Cambridge, and hopes to repeat the feat if he starts the game having scored his first competitive Millers goal last weekend.

“Barrow is a happy hunting ground for me. I scored two goals the last time I was there, on a cold and wet Tuesday night,” he told the Star.

The home side expect to recall veteran defender Paul Bolland for the game, meaning an unlikely start for ex-Miller Andy Nicholas.

Meanwhile loanee Brett Williams returned to action yesterday, playing 70 minutes of the reserves 4-1 defeat at Stoke, with Marcus Marshall netting the consolation from a Ben Pringle assist.
