Henderson relishing Millers stint
On loan striker Liam Henderson is hoping parent club Watford will let him stay and hopefully win promotion with the Millers. Henderson, who has started two games and come off the bench in the other already has three assists to his name and has been unlucky not to score himself: And the loanee wants to extend his stint if Watford give the green light. "The manger at Watford Malky Mackay wants me to go out and get some games. Hopefully the door is not shut there but this is an opportunity to put myself in the shop window, so to speak. "I'm just trying to play and get a run of form going and hopefully I can prove my worth to the club and to the manager and to the boys. I don't want to jinx anything, because it's up to the manager, but I'd be more than willing to stay." Henderson told todays Tiser."I joined Watford at 16 from Newcastle and have been there ever since. It was a big move for a young lad but there were a couple of Geordies on the coaching staff who helped me settle in a bit and the first team manager at the time Aidy Boothroyd wanted me, which was a big attraction. "I like to hold the ball up and get my shots off and I like to get in the box and get on the end of things. There's a good spirit here, you've seen that over the last few games. We didn't play that well against Accrington but still got the result and it was the same at Burton but we still ground out a win."
